Our product represents poor social groups and the issues of trying to work out of a  spot in life stuck in the working class, social mobility, and community support and solidarity. The idea that the mechanic/driver in our film is a poor blue collar worker with the dream of becoming more than that. It highlights the economic inequalities and access to opportunities that shape the way someone's work life may go. Having to go for a job like a racecar driver may feel impossible due to the money and connections you have to have, including the talent you need, our product really provides a look on how you can overcome and pursue dreams when there is major economic inequality. Our film also represents social mobility as the storyline of the mechanic becoming a race car driver explores the hard work, talent, and opportunity that the characters use to better their social status. Building a Website for "The Racer"

Image
In today's world, having a website for a movie is super important. I got to make a website for the new movie "The Racer." At the start, I looked at other movie websites to get ideas. I wanted ours to be easy to use and look cool. I used computer stuff like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build the website. It had to work on computers and phones. Making the homepage was fun. I wanted it to look awesome with a big picture from the movie and a catchy title. I worked with the movie team to make sure the website matched their ads and stuff. Putting in videos and pictures was cool too. I added the movie trailer and some behind-the-scenes photos. I tested everything to make sure it worked right on different computers and phones. Finally, after lots of work, the website was ready to go live! It was exciting to see it online for everyone to see. I was proud of what we made. The website was a cool place for fans to learn about "The Racer" and get excited about it. I knew the

Crafting the Perfect Finale for "The Racer"

Image
In the world of filmmaking, the editing process holds immense power. Recently, I had the chance to refine the ending of the short film "The Racer," and it was quite the journey. Initially, the ending lacked the punch it needed to leave a lasting impact. So, I set out to make it more compelling. I carefully reviewed the footage, adjusting the pacing and refining transitions to build tension effectively. Collaboration was key. Working closely with the director and cinematographer, we shared ideas to ensure the final vision remained cohesive. Together, we found the perfect shot that captured the essence of the film. As we pieced everything together, a sense of satisfaction washed over me. It was rewarding to see how small changes could elevate the film's overall impact. Editing "The Racer" reminded me of the beauty of storytelling and the importance of collaboration. It was a journey filled with discovery and creativity. In the end, watching the final cut, I felt p

New Car

Image
We finally found a car. After hours of searching we finally found a car. Its the exact same one as the old one Logan crashed. Its the same model and year. It is not modified though. This is perfect as we will quickly be able to build it up. I will begin to help Logan transfer the old race car parts into this car to make it better.  The new car also has a manual transmission so I will not need change . Although it wont make it to full race form it will still be the best option. With having the new car this gives us the ability to finish our filming process. We are not ready for that yet though. With this being great I have some better news. All of our previous filming is done and edited. This will make the rest of the process much quicker and easier. As we film the new parts I will insert into the spaces we want them in. I began planning out when were going to film. I decide that this weekend would be a good time to finish it all up. We will get everything filing wise done. I think that

Filming Part Two

Image
Today we filmed again. We still didn't have the car. We wanted to go more in depth on the fixing car scenes. We all arrived at the garage Logan sent us. We all made it on time. I brought the props and costumes that I had acquired earlier. This included the mechanic costume and the tools. We began preparing the car to film. We needed to get it lifted to so we could get good angles. It took us a bit as its very dangerous and everything needed to be right. Once everything was ready we began filming. For these scenes I was filming again. I remembered everything we did wrong from the last time so nothing went wrong. We got a lot of good angles and shots getting right up in the action of the mechanic character. After al this we had time to reshoot the shots from are last time editing. We already knew the error and how to do ach shot so we quickly did these scenes. After a bit of a clean up we had finished filming for the day. This time we decided to review while we were all together. Ev

Major Rework

Image
Realizing I still dint have enough skill. I needed more practice. I wanted to  build on the basics I already know. I start by watching online tutorials and reading up a bit more to expand my knowledge of different transitions. Checking out classics like cuts and dissolves. I experiment with things like the whip pan, a transition that adds energy to scenes and keeps the story flowing. I give the match cut a shot, trying to connect scenes in a more interesting way. The jump cut makes things snappier or highlighting character emotions. Trying out cross-cutting, I weave different storylines together to add more excitement. I play with cuts like L and J cuts to make dialogues flow more smoothly. Wipes and iris-ins get some attention, giving my films unique touches. Invisible cuts become a handy tool, allowing scenes to flow without distracting the viewer. I experiment with unconventional transitions for a bit of wow factor. The dissolve becomes a go-to choice. I start syncing audio with vis
