AICE Media Studies

 We finally were able to finish the filming process this week. We all got together after school to finish up at the same place. We had all the same actors as before so we picked up were we left. We began by filming a few fight scenes. We prioritized getting the perfect camera angle for these scenes as it would make the scene more dramatic and intense. We also used lots of different lighting like darker areas because it may make a fear of darkness or what's about to happen. We really wanted to make the film very heart racing for a viewer. We continued on filming a view more scenes I acted as one of the special agents for the film for most of the film. We finished up with a few more scenes and got everything we needed for the film. After we were done with that I decided to start editing. I Started off by making the intro and title scene. I used the one I created a few weeks ago to help give me an idea. After about an hour of editing I finished the title screen. I sent it to my group

We finally started filming after lots of miscommunication. Over the last couple of weeks, we have been trying to film but things kept not working out. After many failed attempts we got a good amount of the filming process done. We all met up at the apartment and decided to get all the drone shots out of the way. We decided to scratch everything that we filmed before as our drone operator Logan had greatly improved. We started with a shot of the apartment from outside with the drone. This was a very hard shot to get as the weather had to be perfect. It was risky but we pulled it of giving us an amazing establishing shot. We then moved on to a shot we didn’t know if we will keep. We drove a car and followed it with the drone we don’t really like the shot to much and it probably only be used if we needed it. We got one more shot with the drone that again would maybe be used. We filmed a shot of a few people running into the building. We may use this as the second scene of our film, but we

There was not much to do for the project at the time. We had everything prepared and were just figuring out when to film. Due to there not much happening I decided it would be the perfect time to practice editing. I feel like our weakest point in past film has been editing so learning some new skills would be very helpful. I decided the best way to practice would be to make a mini film. I went outside and filmed a few random shots. I then uploaded them to my computer and opened the editing software. The first thing I practiced was transitions. I first decided to watch a few videos to figure out how to do it and found it was very easy to make smooth transitions. The next skill I wanted to learn was figuring out how to use audio on films and how to edit it. This was easily the hardest part of our previous films and learning this would make the process faster and better. This took a few videos as want to learn a few things on editing sound.  Everything was going well we had everything ready all our props and costumes. We were ready to film and had our date set for Saturday. We all were able to make it to our friends apartment but one of our group mates got sick. This was a very big problem in many ways due to the person sick being Logan. Logan was irreplaceable for many reasons. The first problem was that he was usually are main director and always took charge over scenes. He also was the only person with a drone to fly. This would make it impossible for us to correctly film as it would take away many scenes we needed to make. Also he had some of our props and costumes as well and due to the fact we had many characters we needed all of it. He may could have possibly gone but none of us wanted to get sick as well. Although are plans failed we still took advantage of the time we were there. The place is huge so we were constantly finding spots to film. We tried acting out some of the easier films so we could plan for any ch

We have really started getting things prepared. I recently put some paint on some of the props. I painted a few plastic weapons to make them look realistic. I also talked to another friend to get some more valuable props. He has two walkie talkies which will be perfect for our film. He also has a mega phone which can be used for many reasons. We could firstly use it as a prop for the police/FBI as they tend to use mega phones. We also could use it to make sound effects during the film so we don't have to edit it in. The walkie talkies can also be used in the same way as they can display sound for the camera to pick up. I also started getting in depth on what each of our characters are going to wear. I want to know everything I have incase I need to buy some things. I so far have found a suit for the president to wear with a nice pair of pants and shoes. I also have enough for one of are unknown organization characters as I have black plants and jacket. I also have ski mask for them

To start our film process I have been getting things ready. The first thing I did was get some costumes ready. I ordered masks online to wear n the film. I also got out some of the clothes like black hoodies and sweat shirts. I made sure to get only longer cloths as they would fit best for what we want are character to look like. I also found two old ski googles as they would be perfect for covering up the face. I got a lot f my old ski gear to really make a couple possible outfits. I also looked for possible props I have. I found a fake grenade we could use. I also found a few fake weapons that I would need to paint. I went over to my friends house we were going to film at. I used this as the prefect opportunity to scope out all the places we could film. I went around his apartment room first trying different views. I then went and tried how we could do the hallway to stair shot. I finally went down to the pool area to look around for a good shot and found a fence we could use to hop

  On page 1 the bad guys are using a drone in order to find the president's room in order to calculate his exact location, this will serve as our establishing shot because it shows the main location. On page 2 the bad guys are using separate ways of ascending their way to the president's room, they split up to scout for the president's protection. This scene will use lots of medium-long shots. On page 3 the bad guys make their way into the president's room and find him lounging on his balcony, after they see the president, they capture him and start to bring him down this will include first-person shots. On page 4, they are met with the president's protection forces and trade lethal blows until they enter the elevator. This will include long shots and over-the-shoulder shots. On page 5 they get the president into the getaway car while losing more of their men, they are then able to transfer the president to the safe house where they deliver the final line “wel
