The Beginning of the End

 We finally were able to finish the filming process this week. We all got together after school to finish up at the same place. We had all the same actors as before so we picked up were we left. We began by filming a few fight scenes. We prioritized getting the perfect camera angle for these scenes as it would make the scene more dramatic and intense. We also used lots of different lighting like darker areas because it may make a fear of darkness or what's about to happen. We really wanted to make the film very heart racing for a viewer. We continued on filming a view more scenes I acted as one of the special agents for the film for most of the film. We finished up with a few more scenes and got everything we needed for the film. After we were done with that I decided to start editing. I Started off by making the intro and title scene. I used the one I created a few weeks ago to help give me an idea. After about an hour of editing I finished the title screen. I sent it to my group to see their views om it and they all agreed that it would be good. I then moved on as Logan was done editing the actual video I had to edit the sound. I started off by getting all the sound effects that I wanted to use. I the started testing out the lengths and how loud each one would be. After taking a bit to edit the sound effects I moved on to the sound of the actual video. I had to get it exactly paired with effects and also had to make the voice lines perfect to. There is still a bit to do which will be finished shortly.

Critical Reflection

Our product represents poor social groups and the issues of trying to work out of a  spot in life stuck in the working class, social mobility, and community support and solidarity. The idea that the mechanic/driver in our film is a poor blue collar worker with the dream of becoming more than that. It highlights the economic inequalities and access to opportunities that shape the way someone's work life may go. Having to go for a job like a racecar driver may feel impossible due to the money and connections you have to have, including the talent you need, our product really provides a look on how you can overcome and pursue dreams when there is major economic inequality.
