·         Bright costumes, colorful clothing

·         Happy bright lighting

·         Actors are funny and sarcastic

·         Heavy makeup to emphasize which characters are attractive and which are not

·         Funny props are used for comedic

·         Settings are in common, populated places

Editing:

·         jump cut

·         Insert zoom

Sound

·         Diegetic sound

·         Dialogue

·         Voiceover

Elements of the genre

I like the bright costumes that are used in comedic films. The bright costumes soften the blow for some potentially heavy hitting jokes. I don’t like the heavy makeup that would be required because it would not fit the drama that we are trying to convey. Although I would like to add a couple punchlines into the scenes.
