The Cut

Today we started to edit are music video. First off we started off by importing all the videos onto Logan's computer so we could bring them into iMovie. After everything was imported we put all the videos into the order we wanted them in before editing anything. We then imported are song audio files onto the video to start planning and timing the videos and the audio. We then watched the full unedited video to give a idea of how we wanted things to flow and were we wanted to start the song. We have a lot of excess video so we had lots of editing room. To start editing we cut out all of the video we didn't want. We had around a minute forty in all and cut it down to a minute seventeen for now. After we got the time we wanted on the video we took out all the unnecessary extra time in some of the clips. We realized there was a few parts we didn't like when we were zooming in on the photo album so we might re film those later today. We gave the progress we had a listen and realized the song audio quality was terrible so we had to re download the song onto iMovie. For the first scene we didn't do much to it as it was short. Again the next scene was short so we didn't do anything to it either. Scene three we cut off a bit of the end as it was one of the longest scene. We didn't do much until the scene with the kid sleeping as it was way to long and we cut off around 10 seconds off of it. We tried a few effects and filter but none of them really fit the style of the video. The hardest part today was importing the videos as we had a few problems at first and hat to watch a few videos to fix it. There wasn't a lot more to do today as we didn't want to continue the editing process until we had all the footage we wanted. We have to do a lot more so we may need to meet a few more times. We plan on continuing editing on Wednesday as it is our next class together.

What’s up my name is Ryan Wunsch attending Ft Lauderdale High and I’m currently a junior. I am 16 years old and my birthday is April 8 and I was born 2006. Right now I am very interested in learning how to play chess. I have been playing online a couple times a day and have greatly improved in the past couple of weeks.   First scene:  During this scene we will be filming a BMW, more specifically an e36 M3, for the commercial. This shot will be an extreme close up of the back wheel and muffler of the car. This shot will be filmed inside the warehouse. We want to do this shot to show the performance of the car because BMW focuses so heavily on the performance of the car. Second scene:  We will get a shot of the car/cars rolling out of the warehouse getting different shots and then get it driving onto the road.
